Author Jim Evrard taught at a Munich Workers School prior to becoming part of the Chicago community centered around the IWW publication, The Rebel Worker (1964-66), where this extended essay on workers' leisure and hobbies orbiting around the pop song "5 O'Clock World" was previous published as part of issues #5 and #7.
