Contents include Bruce Girard interview with Ron Sakolsky on community activist and low-power radio transmitter, DeWayne Readus [Mbanna Kantako] discussing his Springfield, Illinois pirate station WTRA (Tenant's Rights Association) which at the time of publication was broadcasting as Zoom Black Magic Liberation Radio. His civil disobedience in continuing to broadcast in reponse to an FCC fine and a statement from him at a forum in Chicago entitled "Censorship on the Radio: What's next?" where he noted "The FCC has no right to urinate on your head and tell you it's raining." Other contents include a transcript of a forum at the WOMAD festival in Toronto with Billy Bragg, Allen DeLeary, Geoffrey Oryema, and Louise Bennett-Coverly. Very good condition. Item #3159
