Illustrated, wordless, portrayal of a young man who pursues a social life but is plagued by drug addiction and criminality---woes overlooked by his family, in whose home he still dwells. The faceless characters illustrated by Thompson lend a quality of anonymity and commonplace that speaks to the everyday occurrence of this narrative, one that ends with a name to the death known only by those closest, but distant to him in life. Good condition, wraps scuffed and lightly soiled with some edge wear and minor creasing to spine, small sticker to cover with sharpied number to verso, clean and bright illustrations within worn wraps.
