The third novel from the prolific Ghanaian author and journalist Asara Konadu (1932-1994), published on his own Anowuo Educational Publishers, which he established after the deposition of President Kwame Nkrumah in 1966. Come Back Dora!, the tale of Boateng grieving his wife's death in a colonial outpost and "a transliteration of some of the funeral rites of the communities of Ghana", was one of Konadu's most successful works, selling tens of thousands of copies upon its release.
