The second book of the first artist-in-residence at the Studio Museum in Harlem from 1972-1974. Douens was Leroy Clarke's second book of poetry complementing his simultaneous art show of the same name which ran over the course of 1973 to 1976. Very good book; very good dust jacket, spine lightly rubbed, spine ends chipped, upper cover edge and corners chipped and worn, lower cover 1/4" top joint tear, lower cover top edge 1/4" tear, lower cover worn with light creases wear and rubbing.
