Signature-bound, [octavo], pictorial wraps, 80 pp. This issue is dedicated to the memory of The Classic founding editor, Nieman fellow, and writer, Nat Nakasa. He passed away July 14 1965 at the age of 28. A majority of this issue features his work, some previously published, as well as contributions from Nadine Gordimer, Can Themba, William Plomer and a eulogy from Athol Fugard. Very good condition, wraps worn and faded, corners chipped with a tear, lightly soiled. Item #1774
