Saddle-stapled, quarto, pictorial wraps, offset printed, 140 pp. Volume Two, First issue of long-running independent music, art and literary magazine Chemical Imbalance, a true miscellany edited and published through several volumes and issues over the course of a decade beginning in the mid-1980s in Miami, FL. The original intention of being a conduit for everything from free jazz, Church of the Subgenius, alternative comics, punk, art criticism and occasional poetry persisted and carved out a model for what would later become the editor's Yeti magazine and Maggot Brain. This magazine eventually relocated to New York City.
This issue features scathing letter by Lydia Lunch, Interview with Charles Burns, Lester Bangs, Joe Coleman, so much more with comics, poetry, record reviews, essays.
